During this year’s Frieze Los Angeles, Danish design brand FRAMA presents a select curation of furniture pieces and design objects alongside picks from favorite collectors at Galerie Murphy. Paired with timeless, natural materials and guided by a desire to create utilitarian items with a true sense of meaning and permanence, each piece is designed to awaken curiosity and inspire discovery. Human scale and practicality are always at the center. The installation will present a harmonious contrast between FRAMA’s organic universe and Terminal’s progressive spatial vision.

Farmhouse Trestle Table
In the sentiment of traditional farmhouses, the table is solely made of elements of function; abiding to the notion of the simple life in the countryside whilst expressing a rural aesthetic. The Farmhouse Table is composed of two trestles used in conjunction, along with a round table top. The visible trestles resemble the exposed beams apparent at traditional farmhouses. On top, rests a double-face table top of oak speckled with knots; seemingly unapologetic about its “flaws”. Turned around, and a less knotted complexion reveals itself.
